Crypto market today: how to read price, volume and dominance without panic
Price is only part of the story. Volume, dominance and context help interpret the market more clearly.

Start with the right question
When the crypto market looks nervous, it is easy to react to price alone. A more useful question is what changed in volume, dominance and context before deciding whether a move is meaningful.
In a simple reading, price shows a value at one moment, volume shows activity intensity and dominance shows an asset's relative share of the market. Together, these data help separate noise from trend.
What to watch
Compare the recent move with the same period a week earlier, check whether it is concentrated in only a few assets and see whether volume supports the change. A price move with little volume may be isolated; broader activity deserves further observation, not certainty.
A practical rule
Do not treat a short change as a confirmed trend. Use the dashboard, record the reading and check again at later intervals to see whether the move holds.
